Set of 6 Chinese Café au Lait Bowls – Batavia Porcelain, Qianlong period
A rare set of six Chinese porcelain bowls in the characteristic Café au Lait style, also known as Batavia porcelain. The bowls are presumably from the Qianlong period (1736–1795) and were produced for the European export market at the time. The rich Capuchin brown exterior with white cartouches and fine floral motifs makes this set an authentic piece of Chinese export art. Six together — a complete set that will impress in any display cabinet or as a decorative centerpiece on a table.
