An authentic metal collection box issued by the Women's Committee of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam on the occasion of its 100th anniversary in 1937. From 1932, women from the VU's constituency collected money with these boxes, particularly for the establishment of the medical faculty. A rare piece of Dutch university heritage with a rich history.
